President and CEO
Don Bulens is President and Chief Executive Officer of Unidesk, and a member of the Unidesk Board of Directors. Under Don's leadership, Unidesk will become the virtual desktop management solution of choice for enterprises seeking to reduce the operational and capital costs of desktop computing, ensure the success of desktop virtualization initiatives, and increase the productivity of desktop users.
Before joining Unidesk, Don was President and CEO of EqualLogic, a data storage systems company that employed highly disruptive product and go-to-market strategies to double revenue each year, achieve profitability, and secure the second largest market share in the fastest growing segment of the storage industry, leading to its 2008 acquisition by Dell. Don was also President and CEO of Trellix, a provider of widely-adopted web site publishing tools that was acquired by Interland. Earlier in his career, Don was an executive at Lotus Development, where he led the creation of the channel and developer community that contributed to the extraordinary market growth of Lotus Notes.
Don is a director and advisor to several venture-backed companies. He was Ernst & Young’s 2008 Northeast Regional “Entrepreneur of the Year” and a National Finalist for the same award, and was named Massachusetts Network Communications Council's 2008 “CEO of the Year.” He holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA degree from Suffolk University.
