President and Chief Executive Officer
Don Bulens is President and Chief Executive Officer of Unidesk, and a member of the Unidesk Board of Directors. Under Don's leadership, Unidesk is fast becoming the virtual desktop management standard for enterprises seeking to reduce the operating and capital costs of desktop computing.
Before joining Unidesk, Don was President and CEO of EqualLogic, a data storage systems provider that employed highly disruptive product and go-to-market strategies to secure the second largest market share in the fastest growing segment of the storage industry. This success led to the company's $1.4B acquisition by Dell in 2008. Don was previously the CEO of Trellix, a provider of widely-adopted web site publishing tools that was acquired by Interland (now Web.com). Earlier, Don was an executive at Lotus Development, where he led the creation of the channel and developer community that contributed to the extraordinary market growth of Lotus Notes.
Don is a director and advisor to several venture-backed companies. He was Ernst & Young’s 2008 Northeast Regional “Entrepreneur of the Year” and a National Finalist for the same award. Don was also awarded “CEO of the Year” by the Massachusetts Network Communications Council in 2008. He holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA degree from Suffolk University.

Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Chris Midgley is the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Unidesk, and a member of the Unidesk Board of Directors. Chris' vision for Unidesk was inspired from a career immersed in technologies such as virtualization, distributed storage, desktop management, continuous data protection, and Software as a Service (SaaS). His expertise in storage and virtual file systems has enabled him to look at desktop virtualization from a unique perspective, and invent a more comprehensive solution to the challenges of enterprise desktop management.
Before founding Unidesk, Chris was Vice President, Digital Strategy at data storage services leader Iron Mountain, where he was responsible for defining the digital business' strategic roadmap and acquisition strategy. Chris joined Iron Mountain with its 2005 acquisition of LiveVault, the SaaS pioneer in online backup and recovery that he co-founded in 2001. Under Chris' technical leadership, LiveVault achieved 150% annual sales growth and a base of more than 2,000 SaaS customers. Prior to LiveVault, Chris was Founder and CTO of Network Integrity, a leading provider of fault-tolerant clustering solutions and disk-based continuous data protection technology. Chris has also founded or led the engineering teams for several other successful technology companies, including Sytron Corporation, Irwin Magnetics, and Datalab Corporation.
Chris holds a number of U.S. patents, and has several more patents pending for his innovative work at Unidesk.

Chief Solution Architect
Ron Oglesby educates enterprise IT organizations and solution providers on how to reduce the costs of desktop management and ensure the success of desktop virtualization initiatives. His years of experience as a Citrix Technology Professional (CTP), VMware vExpert, and Microsoft MVP and his strong rapport with IT professionals equip him to shape implementation strategies for Unidesk customers and influence the Unidesk product roadmap.
Before joining Unidesk, Ron was the Practice Executive for Virtualization Services at Dell where he developed methodologies that helped Dell’s strategic customers implement their virtualization and consolidation initiatives. Prior to Dell, Ron was the Director of x86 and Virtualization Services at GlassHouse Technologies, one of the world’s largest independent data center consulting and services companies, where he oversaw North American consulting operations and directed a large team of engineers on numerous enterprise virtualization projects. Ron joined GlassHouse through its acquisition of RapidApp, where, as CTO and Senior Architect, he managed the professional services business and developed unique intellectual property for managing virtualization implementations.
Ron's industry credentials also include:
- Author of advanced technical design guides for VMware Infrastructure 3, VMware ESX Server, and Terminal Services for Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
- Frequent speaker at industry events, including BriForum, Citrix Synergy, iForum, VMworld, and VMware User Groups (VMUGs).
- Recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award, given to inspiring individuals for representing the voice of thousands in the community through independent feedback, and for helping customers maximize the potential of their software.

Vice President of Engineering
As Unidesk's Vice President of Engineering, Jeannie Vineyard directs all of the company's agile software development activities, including product design, development, and quality assurance. She is also leads Unidesk's customer support team, and is chartered with making superior customer service a competitive advantage.
Jeannie brings more than 25 years of software development and quality assurance management experience to Unidesk. She was previously Vice President of Engineering at Liquid Machines, where she delivered multiple major releases of the company's enterprise rights management software. Prior to joining Liquid Machines, Jeannie was Vice President of Quality at Egenera, where she delivered the company's clustering, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions for Microsoft Windows and Sun Solaris. Jeannie has also held engineering leadership positions at Kana Communications, OpenVision Technologies, Cognex Corporation, Cayman Systems, Prime Computer, and Raytheon, overseeing development of operating systems, networking, image processing and enterprise-class Web applications.
Jeannie holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire.
Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Brian McDonough is responsible for Unidesk's worldwide sales operations and partnerships. Our highly efficient, partner-leveraged sales model makes it easy for customers to determine whether Unidesk virtual desktop management software meets their needs, and together with the consulting expertise of our partners, provides the tools and support that enable Unidesk customers to be successful with their desktop virtualization initiatives.
Prior to Unidesk, Brian held multiple executive sales roles at IBM. Most recently, he was the Worldwide Business Executive on the IBM Rational Tiger Team, focused on winning new business at IBM’s most strategic accounts. Brian joined IBM with the acquisition of Watchfire, and initially served as the IBM Worldwide Business Executive for Watchfire sales, responsible for key sales integration objectives. With Brian's help, Watchfire revenue doubled in its first year as part of IBM. Previously, as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Watchfire, Brian helped the Web application security and compliance company build an innovative sales model that resulted in more predictable revenue forecasting and business performance. Earlier in his career, Brian held sales and business development leadership positions at eCredit.com, Epicor, and ADP.
Brian holds a BS degree in Marketing from Plymouth State University.
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Tom Rose is responsible for Unidesk's worldwide marketing and product management initiatives. He is also responsible for securing and managing Unidesk's strategic alliances and technology relationships, with the goal of building a strong partner ecosystem as a competitive advantage.
Prior to Unidesk, Tom was Director, Worldwide Product Marketing for HP Software Information Management (IM), where his team helped HP's backup/recovery, archiving, and e-discovery product group achieve record revenue and profitability in its first year as an independent business unit. Prior to HP, Tom was Vice President, Marketing at AppIQ, the leader in multi-vendor Storage Resource Management (SRM) software from its launch in 2003 to its first quarter of profitability and acquisition by HP in 2005. Before AppIQ, Tom was Vice President, Marketing at Courion, where he helped establish the company as a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in identity and access management. Tom was also Vice President, Marketing for HighGround Systems, the SRM pioneer acquired by Sun in 2001, and HyperDesk, an early groupware innovator acquired by FTP Software in 1995. Earlier in his career, Tom worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in various software development and project management positions.
Tom holds BS degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Clarkson University and an MBA degree from Rivier College.

Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Mary Jefts is responsible for Unidesk's finance, legal, human resource and administration functions. Mary has over 20 years of financial leadership experience with both public and private companies, primarily in the technology sector.
Prior to Unidesk, Mary was Chief Financial Officer at Acquia and was instrumental in leading the company through its explosive growth. Prior to Acquia, Mary was a Business Unit Executive in the Business Analytics Division of IBM with global responsibility for sales, marketing, services and development. Mary joined IBM with the acquisition of OpenPages where she was Chief Financial Officer. Mary has also held financial leadership positions at Netegrity, Prime Response and PhyMatrix, all of which were publicly-traded companies. Mary began her career as a certified public accountant at PwC.
Mary holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley University.
