"Make the IT People Smile"

This week Bruce Hoard of the Virtualization Review wrote an article titled "Make the IT People Smile: A Hypervisor Story." The article highlights the previous successes of Unidesk CEO, Don Bulens, including Radnet, Trellix, EqualLogic (acquired by Dell for $1.4 billion in 2008), and now Unidesk. The article also touches on two of the common threads between all of Don's start-ups: simplifying a task that's typically complex and creating the best possible customer experience, known here at Unidesk as "customer delight."

Today marks exactly one month since I joined Unidesk, and reading this article confirms everything I was told, witnessed, and am now a part of everyday at Unidesk. It is really a joy to "make the IT people smile" as they learn about Unidesk virtual desktop management software, and there are really two ways that we make them smile. First, is with our product. Desktop virtualization is currently not easy to properly deploy, and it is usually when someone gets stuck that they find out about Unidesk. When we talk about our product and give a demo, we see people's faces light up as they realize that Unidesk is the answer to their problems. Second, is with our support. We have an awesome support team that is passionate about what they do, and not only do they understand Unidesk inside and out, but they also understand the infrastructure and architecture necessary for a successful virtual desktop implementation. We're doing our jobs well if we are consistently delighting our customers from the first time they experience Unidesk all the way through each new successful virtual desktop deployment.
