Was Team Unidesk up for the Challenge?

Indeed. The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Boston that is. Last night marked the 28th annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge race in Boston and was also the 17th consecutive year that the race has reached full capacity of 12,000 participants. The beneficiaries of the Boston event this year were the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Horizons for Homeless Children. With representation from more than 650 companies, this was the first time that Unidesk Corporation entered a team. About an hour before the start, a rainstorm was threatening, but the weather ended up being ideal - a breezy but sunny 65 degree evening. All clad in our royal blue Unidesk, VDI Uncompromised jerseys, we were 11 strong at the start line, poised to knock out the 3.5 mile run. The blowhorn sounded and we were off. Although because of the sheer volume of runners, we actually crossed over the start line about 2-3 minutes after the race begun.

While no one on the Unidesk team broke any course records, we all completed the race without injury or tears and enjoyed some good laughs in a celebratory after-party at the Good Life Bar on Kingston Street.
We had such a great time – you can bet Team Unidesk will be back for more in 2012.
