"There have been a lot of benefits from VDI, but the biggest savings we've seen is the soft costs. Instead of having to send in a team of techs to install software, now we just highlight all of our desktops in Unidesk, choose a different template with a different combination of app layers, and reboot them. That alone has saved us more time than I can even begin to comprehend. Just this semester alone, we’ve had faculty change application requirements 3 or 4 times, and we were able to rectify it in minutes instead of days."
