Do I need to sequence applications when I'm packaging applications with Unidesk?
No. Unidesk does not require scripting, recording, sequencing, pre-scans, post-scans, or other tasks typically associated with application virtualization.
Packaging and delivering an application with Unidesk layers is very simple. You simply install an application as you would on a typical desktop. You can run setup, reboot as needed, change settings, edit the Windows Registry, and even copy files to different locations. Unidesk automatically captures all of these changes as an application layer.
When you are finished, simply assign the layer to one or more desktops. After the next reboot, the application will be present, appearing as if it is locally installed on each of the desktops.
