All user changes, including user-installed applications, are captured in Personalization layers that are separate and distinct from the Operating System and Application layers managed by IT. Whenver IT changes these underlying layers, Unidesk dynamically re-composites the Personalization layer on top of the IT-managed layers. All user data, user-installed applications, and settings are sustained for truly persistent personalization.
