Does Unidesk work with VMware Linked Clones?

Not today. Unidesk integrates with VMware View, but replaces Linked Clones. Most customers prefer to use Unidesk instead of Linked Clones for 2 reasons:

1. Unidesk offers all of the single image management and storage reduction capabilities of Linked Clones, with the additional benefit of 100% persistent personalization. Unlike Linked Clones, Unidesk does not lose user-installed applications, plug-ins, profile settings, directories, data, GUIDs, and other user personalization elements each time the Microsoft Windows base image is patched or upgraded.
2. Unidesk is easier to use than Linked Clones. With Unidesk, there is no need to update each Parent Virtual Machine and all of your ‘snapshots’ and re-compose your desktops each time you patch or update Windows.
