Does the user get a chance to save their work with Unidesk or is it auto-saved?

Both. All user changes are automatically captured by Unidesk. When the user changes a display setting, it is automatically saved in the user’s personalization layer. Same thing when they save a document from Microsoft Word to the local C: drive. Or install a Cisco WebEx or Google Toolbar browser plug-in. Or install a brand new application. In addition, Unidesk saves snapshots of the user personalization layer at intervals you choose, so you can roll back to a previous snapshot in the event of data loss or application corruptions.
